CALIFORNIA VISIT

Artists' Books display, Del Mar, California

October: A drive to Southern California (my home for my first 47 years) and a ten day visit with family and friends. Artists' books were placed at the Athenaeum Music and Arts Library, La Jolla and UCSanDiego Mandeville Library, Special Collections. Fire pushed by Santa Ana winds were part of the experience.

Hi Mary Ellen!

It's good to see your pictures and your house from Hong Kong! It brought back memories of walking and eating at your beautiful place.

Paul and I have been here in Hong Kong almost five years and still enjoying being here.

Hope all is well with you and Wendall.

All the best from HK,
Ying Ying

Hi Mary Ellen
I just returned from MN residency.
I made books there out of corn husks and prairie grass, asian beetles, box elder bugs, spider webs, leaves and trigs, stones, etc.
Spoke to Gloria Lamson. She said she had a good time at your studio in Durango during the Artposium.Back in NYC and hope to get some work done and promoted in next 2 months before going back to school.
In "The Cities" visited with Suysan Hensel at her gallery where you had your show. She was showing 2 other Colorado artists.
