A few of my artists' books are included in the exhibit "(Un)Bound, Artists' Books from the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library, La Jolla, CA taking place at The San Diego Central Library, 330 Park Blvd, San Diego - opening reception, Sat. Jan 31 from 12PM-2PM. The exhibit runs until April 26, 2015.
This fall a number of my one-of-a-kind artists' books have found a permanent home in the Special Collections Library of Baylor University in Texas. They were sold through Abecedarian Gallery's recent exhibit "Pulp Mastery", in which my work and the work of Melissa Jay Craigs was featured.
Four of my editioned books were also placed in the collection.
"Through the Forest" an installation using nature-altered oriental spirit papers is part of the Members Exhibit at the Durango Arts Center for the month. The papers were laid along a forest trail held by a stone throughout the winter. In the spring, the harvest revealed the change that this collaboration with nature and time created
My "A Walk in the Woods" sculptural artists' book has been included in the exhibit "In and Out of Sculptural Books at The Ink Shop Printmaking Center, Ithaca, NY. this month. Curated by Kumi Korf (selections from workshops she has taught across the U.S) , my piece was created in the workshop she taught a few years ago at the Durango Arts Center, on the occasion of her exhibit of prints in the Art Library.
