I love the materials you used for this piece. I recently tried using charred wood from my stove on a piece but didn't work as I had hoped.

I came across a piece of your work today at a consignment store and purchased it. The piece is titled Veneer VI. I have never seen your work before. Do you have any idea where any of the other peices in this series are located? LOVE, LOVE it.

Shelly, I did the Veneer series (edition of 36) back in the 80's and most of the collage series were sold through my L.A. gallery Hunsaker/Schlesinger (now Lora Schlesinger Gallery). The series is sold out and they are located all over - Hawaii, Tapei, NYC, L.A., Tokyo, and Colorado. Veneer VI was originally sold to the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin, Texas. The early works of the series featured an antique envelope, I think from Egypt. Always fascinating that my work can turn up where least expected. Glad it has found a loving home in its journey away from my studio.
