This is an exhibit that was shown last year in Albuquerque.

TAPA

Tapa cloth from Pacific islands has been in my storage area for many years. I have always felt that the back side of this cloth was more interesting than the front side. This drawing on cut strips of tapa, mounted on canvas, has been inspired by language forms from Africa.
